Prices
Sterk Law Firm aims to offer competitive prices for our services. Our fee is primarily determined based on time spent, but will also reflect the complexity and difficulty of the assignment. In simple and straightforward cases, we may consider offering a fixed price at the start.
As lawyers, we are subject to the Bar Association's rules of good legal practice. In cases involving consumers, we also adhere to the Competition Authority's regulations on price information for goods and services. This means that at the start, the client is informed about the current hourly rates, how the fee is calculated, and our billing routines. We can also agree to provide ongoing reporting of incurred costs as needed.
For private clients, we operate with a guideline hourly rate in the range of 2000-5200 NOK plus VAT, depending on the nature of the case. In special cases, we may deviate from this range. Minimum billing is 15 minutes per work session. Any specific expenses related to the case will be in addition to the time-based fee. For corporate clients, the price is determined by further agreement.
We are not able to take cases on a so-called "no cure, no pay" basis, and our fee cannot be solely linked to a percentage or share of the case's outcome, in accordance with the Bar Association's rules.

We can also agree on continuous reporting of incurred costs as needed.
